Our cuisine

A cuisine of the sea, simple and generous

At Le Bistrot de Nino, our Mediterranean cuisine is built each day around fresh fish and seafood. The plates go straight to the essentials: honest, sun-drenched flavours, served with all the generosity of the Cassis coastline.

Our signature remains the whole fish, presented at your table then filleted in front of you — a gesture that has become the hallmark of the house, where the Mediterranean shows its most direct side.

The house

A harbour institution, from one generation to the next

Created by Nino then passed down from one generation to the next, Le Bistrot de Nino is an institution of the Cassis harbour. When we took over the house, we kept its name in tribute to the man who gave birth to it, along with the spirit of a table where you take the time to feast.

Village regulars and passing travellers find the same thing here: sincere Mediterranean cuisine, a setting at the water's edge and a warm welcome, in the friendly atmosphere that defines the harbour.
