The whites of Cassis
Fresh and mineral, born of a marine terroir, they naturally converse with the fish and shellfish on our menu.

On the Cassis harbour since 1962
At Le Bistrot de Nino, Mediterranean cooking meets the wines of Cassis. Fresh fish, mineral AOC whites and the largest terrace on the harbour: the pairing of a place and a terroir.

The wine of Cassis
AOC Cassis is one of the oldest appellations in France, recognised in 1936. Its vines, tucked between the calanques and Cap Canaille, yield mostly white wines: lively, mineral, marked by the sea air and the sun. A terroir shaped by the sea, a stone's throw from our terrace.
At Le Bistrot de Nino, on the harbour, these wines answer our cuisine naturally. A Cassis white extends the freshness of a just-filleted fish without ever covering it: the glass carries on the plate.
Matching the glass
From grilled fish to a shared platter, each dish calls for its wine. Three families guide our suggestions, around the region's wines.
Fresh and mineral, born of a marine terroir, they naturally converse with the fish and shellfish on our menu.
For a terrace lunch or an apéritif facing the harbour, a dry rosé accompanies the sea starters and the Mediterranean spirit.
Depending on the fish you choose and how it's cooked, our team guides you to the glass that will show your meal at its best.

Facing the sea
Le Bistrot de Nino boasts the largest terrace in Cassis, shaded and open onto the water, with 80 to 100 covers. Here you savour a Cassis white among the boats and the cliffs — over a glass, an apéritif or a full meal. Your pets are welcome too.
At the table
Our signature is the whole fish, presented then filleted in front of you at the table. On a grilled or oven-cooked piece, a dry, precise Cassis white underlines the purity of the flesh: the pairing becomes an experience in its own right.
From apéritif to dessert, we build the meal with you — a spritz facing the harbour, a mineral white on the fish, a rounder glass on a dish in sauce. The wine follows the thread of the tasting, never the other way round.

Our list
We put the whites of AOC Cassis and neighbouring appellations centre stage, chosen for their freshness and minerality. They are the natural companions of our fresh fish and seafood, in the house's Mediterranean spirit.
The list also makes room for Provence rosés and a few light reds, to vary the pairings with the dishes. Our team is happy to advise: browse our wine list to plan your visit.
